Bikes & Barrels - Biryani N Grill
About This Spot
Stepping into Bikes & Barrels - Biryani N Grill feels like discovering a vibrant crossroads where tradition meets modern warmth. Nestled in the heart of Smyrna, this modern Indian restaurant hums with a welcoming energy that’s neither rushed nor fussy, inviting guests to settle in at their own pace and savor the unfolding experience. The atmosphere carries a subtle bustle, the kind that suggests a neighborhood favorite where familiar faces mingle with curious newcomers, all drawn by the irresistible aromas weaving through the air.
Here, food is more than just sustenance—it’s an exploration of rich spices and nuanced flavors presented with a fresh twist. The kitchen crafts biryanis that resonate with deep, time-honored roots yet surprise with inventive touches—imagine a melding of classic spice blends with an unexpected playful edge that invites you to taste something both comforting and new. Appetizers echo this spirit as well, offering bites that might spark a conversation or spark a memory, each plate carefully balanced between familiar warmth and exciting discovery.
The dining experience feels grounded in genuine hospitality, where attentive servers share their knowledge with a quiet pride that makes every guest feel seen and guided rather than hurried. The late-night hours reveal another layer of the place’s personality, becoming a haven for those seeking hearty, thoughtfully crafted food when most other kitchens have already closed. There’s a delicate tension here—the care to maintain quality and flavor through long hours reflects a commitment to guests who come for more than just a meal but for a moment of ease and satisfaction.
Amid the hum of conversation and the clinking of plates, there is a clear sense of connection—between people, their stories, and the food they share. Bikes & Barrels embraces this as part of its charm, a reminder that every visit is as much about the atmosphere and human moments as it is about the flavors that linger long after the last bite.

Delicious Indian food on its own but the fusion dishes were what took this place over the top. I had the chicken 65 Biryani and the chicken biryani burrito. Perfectly mixed the different cuisines to create a fun and delicious dining experience. I will definitely be back to try other fusion dishes. Maybe one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to just because of the uniqueness of the fusion

I had Mutton Mandi, served by Cute-robot, the platter filled with aromatic rice with dry fruits, and on top of it the tender lamb chops with mid-spicy gravy. Also served with rita, gravy, mayonnaise, and a free complimentary soft drink (we can choose the variety). OMG!! The taste is amazing; though it's a bit expensive, it's totally worth it. **NOTE** Washrooms could have been cleaner.

Was pleasantly surprised when we visited this restaurant on our way from the airport. We were getting late and found this restaurant was open until midnight which is unusual for Indian restaurants. Ordered food and got them in time and they were delicious. Ordered Mandi, few appetisers and Gobi fried rice and special lotus stem biryani. They were new and very tasty. I would recommend the appetisers that have the creamy texture rather than the dry ones. The creamy part on the Mandi was also well done. Totally recommend this place. Also the owner/staff was kind enough to come around and get our experience about the place and food. I would revisit for sure soon.

The best butter chicken I have ever tasted!!!!!! And I have had my fair share of butter chicken, but this….this is so flavorful. Our waiter Lilly was so knowledgeable about the food and how it’s prepared for first time comers. The dishes she recommended were so good!!! She did an extraordinary job. When you come, ask for Lilly.

Night food lovers!! This place is open in mid nights I tried twice recently and I am unhappy with the food at “MID NIGHTS” only. Yesterday I ordered chicken dum biriyani and mutton Mandi. From my experience the biriyani served was very near to get spoiled. So if you are visiting the place, ask them and make sure the available fresh food options. Mandi was good. The review below is solely on my past experiences. I would like to say how this restaurant is different from other restaurants in terms of taste. If you ask for the Spicy level as high/max then in most of the restaurants I visited the dish only contains more chilli powder and less other spices. But in this restaurant, if the spicy is max/high, they make it balanced with all the other spices and give you the original feel of what you need in the food. The food tastes great and fulfilling. The day I visited I felt the food was prepared with lots of love because it tasted damn good. I would recommend and visit this place again to see if they keep up their taste and aroma. Let me know how did you like this place?

We tried this restaurant later at night because we wanted Indian and not a lot was open. When we walked in and saw all the Indian patrons we knew it had to be good. The decor was simple and settings was as well however the food was extremely authentic and delicious. We will go back again to try other dishes. The mango lassi was thick and not ice cold but still worth getting.

I stumbled upon this nice Indian restaurant that serves one of my favorite biryanis made with seeraga samba rice—Madras biryani. It’s available only on weekends, but I’d definitely recommend trying it. It’s incredibly authentic and so flavorful. I even went twice in one week just for this biryani. Their romali roti is also very well made—soft, thin, and perfect. I paired it with their paneer curry, which has more of a dhaba-style taste. You can tell the chef really tries to bring a unique flavor to a lot of their dishes.

We came at lunch and it was just us but many pickup and online orders. The server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our food came out hot, fresh, and in a timely manner. We had the Apollo Fish Biryani, garlic naan, lamb curry special, and Indian roti. I would definitely recommend.
